VAAS pneumatic actuators are designed for easy mounting on the VAAS range of knife gate valves. They offer inter-changeability with the manual hand wheel operator in most sizes and designs. These actuators use a proven piston seal design that uses a PTFE seal backed with nitrile o-ring. Combined with the standard FRP cylinder tube, they offer very low friction and long seal life. The piston rod is stainless steel for improved corrosion resistance and long trouble-free operation.

VAAS manufacture an extensive range of pneumatic cylinder actuators for linear valve actuation requirements. Primarily designed for use with VAAS knife gate valves, they can be used for other linear actuation requirements too. VAAS pneumatic cylinder is a double acting design and is available in a wide range of cylinder diameters and stroke lengths.
Wafer, full lug, uni-directional knife gate valve, rising stem, hand wheel operated or actuated.
