At VAAS, we do much more than just manufacture and sell great knife gate & slurry gate valves. Our customer-first approach has assisted us become the first-choice supplier to thousands of end users across the globe.
A quarter century back, our manufacturing size range was limited to 600mm (24”). Over these years, we listened and worked closely with our customers, and produced new designs, improved on the ones we had, and expanded our size range. Today, we manufacture knife gate valves to 1500mm (60”).
Local Support
Our local presence, direct or through distribution channels are available between normal working hours, on technical matters, availability, price, trouble-shooting, spares, etc. Site visits are also available on request.
Service Centres
We are in the process of establishing service centres around the country for maintenance and repairs to our VAAS valves when required. Our service centres can also work with your on-site staff on trouble-shooting issues. Service personnel are available on call-out to attend to any emergencies.
Quality Assurance
VAAS is an ISO 9001 accredited manufacturer.
Stringent quality control is the key to the high performance of our products in service. Every valve that leaves our factory is pre-tested to our in-house standards and requirements, which in some cases are more stringent than applicable international standards and industry norms. Records are maintained for every valve produced with each valve carrying a unique serial numbered stainless steel tag, riveted to the valve yoke. This provides full traceability and facilitates re-ordering of spares.
Loop & Prototype Testing Facility – Because our slurry bi-directional valves generally go into very difficult services including abrasive and erosive slurries, VAAS set up its own in-house testing facility where valve prototypes, after 2D and 3D design simulation, are life-cycle-tested in near-actual site conditions, using various line media.
Our facility is also available to customers wanting to test certain or special valves to validate selection.
Warranty
VAAS standard warranty applies i.e. 18 months from date of despatch from the factory or 12 months from installation, whichever is earlier. Products found defective for materials or workmanship and provided they have been installed in a suitable application, will be repaired or replaced.
